Relaxed bedrooms with hearty breakfast - Our 12 bedrooms offer relaxed comfort in our historic Lakeland pub. We offer a choice of Standard and Superior Rooms, arranged as either double or twin beds on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel, with the option of extra beds in some rooms. All of our room rates include a hearty cooked breakfast each morning, fuelling you for the Ullswater valley on your doorstep.
Standard and Superior rooms - Standard Rooms feature king size beds, en suite showers, flat screen TV and complimentary tea and coffee. Superior Rooms have been beautifully refurbished, with spacious bathrooms including bath and shower, plus flat screen TV and complimentary tea and coffee.
Family stays in the Ullswater valley - Our brand new Catbells family room is perfect for families, with a king size bed, bunk beds and an extra pull out bed offering plenty of space for a family of five. We also have one triple room, and our Superior Rooms can take an extra bed, ideal for those staying with children.
Dog friendly rooms and bar - We welcome well behaved dogs in the bar, and many of our bedrooms are dog friendly. Please get in touch when making your reservation to request a dog friendly room so that you and your four legged companion can relax in comfort after a day on the fells.
